SharePoint 2010 has inherited a lot from Office 2007. It has a ribbon bar at the top like we have in Office 2007, to perform common tasks related to Site Pages and\or data. SharePoint is a lot user-friendly than SharePoint 2007 and can perform much more tasks in terms of intergration and using external data than SharePoint 2007.
